“Fine Art Conversation / Five Artists” Gallery Event

James Yarosh Associates Gallery Hosts Special Showing and Reception on September 23

HOLMDEL, N.J.— James Yarosh Associates Gallery invites the public to a special viewing of Fine Art Conversation / Five Artists on September 23 from noon to 4 p.m., followed by a reception from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Fine Art Conversations/Five Artists, which runs through September 30, 2023, highlights works by Miriam Beerman, Robert Melee, Iliya Mirochnik, Sheba Sharrow and Vjachaslav Zabelin.

The reception features a conversation with gallerist James Yarosh, who will offer insights to his gallery’s curation, and an informal Q&A with artist Robert Melee and special guests Heather Barone, Beerman’s former assistant and mentee, and Mayda Sharrow, Sheba Sharrow’s daughter.

“The gallery is in its twenty-seventh year, and this show is one of my favorites to have exhibited,” says Yarosh. “I am pleased to offer this mini salon event to continue the conversation the artists have started. This exhibition represents a diary of this curation journey, and I’m excited to share some of the insights on how the show evolved, along with conversation with the special guests who are connected to artists in the show who are no longer with us.”

This exhibition explores the conversations of five artists from various backgrounds and discovers their visual synergy and common ground. The show is grouped by artist, which allows viewers to experience the integrity of each artistic voice while still allowing for a dialogue among the artists through their works. “The beauty of art is that it can tell the stories that we are not always able to tell ourselves—and on subjects that connect us when there are no words,” Yarosh says. “The exhibit creates a visual dialogue. I’m hoping we will be able to find some words to help offer insights on the greatness of the artists represented and their works offered to collectors.”
