This beautifully presented exhibit of Lech Mejewski was an overview and for me an introduction to seeing his work. Exhibited where pieces from 'Bruegel- The Mill & the Cross' and 'Blood of a Poet' among others all created in, I believe, the past 11 years. These photos, films and paintings come to life so eloquent as they blurred time and taboos to watch. From the show brochure: Working around the world, Lech Majewski builds his visions in his paintings, films, installations, novels, theatre and opera stagings. He studied at Academy of Fine Arts and graduated from the National film school in Lodz, Poland. His credits include such films as: The Knight, Prisoner of Rio, Gospel According to Harry, The Roe's Room, Basquiat, Wajaczek, Angelus, The Garden of Earthly Delights, Glass Lips and The Mill & the Cross. www.lechmajewski.com

I felt very fortunate to have found this show so pristine with visuals and accompanying soundtracks resulting in a transcendent to experience as a museum guest. I perfect reminder of the healing qualities and greatness of the arts and a welcome tonic having also toured this trip the museums of Auschwitz I and Auschwitz-Birkenau to witness.
