Ivan Mikhailovich Kugach was born December 21, 1972 He began to study art in 1986 at the 1905 Moscow Art School. He went on from there to study at the Surikov Institute from 1990 to 1996. He was a student of the famous V.N. Zabelin. Ivan Kugach represents the third generation of artists as part of the famous Kugach family and currently presides as the president of the Russian River group.

James Yarosh Associates presents our first Holiday Show in our new location with extended holiday hours for the month of December including a Grand Holiday Evening Opening. Reception scheduled for Saturday, December 8th. with daytime hours 12-4pm and evening hours 5-9pm. The festivities continue Sunday, December 9th, 12-4pm with additional weekend hours throughout the month

ONE WEEKEND ONLY- RUSSIAN REALISM FINE ART TRUNK SHOW

James Yarosh Associates Fine Art Gallery announces its 2010 Holiday Show during the weekends of December 4th - 5th and 11th - 12th, 12 to 4 p.m.  The opening weekend will feature a  special truck show event, showcasing over 200 Russian Realism paintings as part of a NY/ NJ event co-hosted by Russian art historian John Wurdeman.

MUSEUM SHOW IN REVIEW:

Artists Mikhail Kugach and son Ivan were in attendance of the Katzen Art  Center at the American University  Museum show opening honoring their family’s three generation of artists legacy. Preview weekend included a Russian Embassy dinner hosted by Luba Taubvurtzel of Global Arts Network and an Collectors luncheon with slide show and lecture by Mikhail Kugach with translation by JonathanWurdeman, presented courtesy of John & Kathy Wurdeman.
