The always popular Bayonet Farm Arts and Music Festival is inviting all artists to register for the 10th anniversary event on Sunday, September 22, from noon to 5 p.m. Plein Air artists will have the opportunity to create and display their art on the magnificent Bayonet Farms estate. A juried show, with judges James Yarosh, of James Yarosh Associates Fine Art Gallery, and Avis H. Anderson, Executive Director and Curator of the Monmouth Museum and Cultural Center, will provide cash prizes for the winning artists. To celebrate the 10th anniversary, festival organizers are encouraging attendees to purchase art work by offering a 15% discount coupon on sales. The coupon will be available in local publications and at the festival entrance table. To register to participate in the Paint Out and/or Juried Gallery show, and to obtain more information, please visit www.bayonetfarmarts.org.
In addition to enjoying visual arts, attendees can enjoy performed art. Back by popular demand will be the Colts Neck Swing Band, the Swampgrass Jug Band, Los Mas Valientes, Celadon Youth Group, Doodle Dude, and the Holmdel Theatre Company. New this year will be the HUCC Finn Group and a Holmdel student group, Chime.
