James Yarosh Associates Fine Art Gallery Announces Holiday Events
Holmdel—In a celebration of the joy and finery of the Holiday Season, James Yarosh Associates is pleased to announce a robust calendar of December events. Beginning on December 6 and 7, the gallery will feature its annual Moscow School of Russian Realism Fine Art Trunk Show, to be followed by the gallery’s Holiday Open House until December 21. In addition, James Yarosh Associates welcomes all to view the work of gallery artist Evelyn Leavens as featured in the windows of Garmany-Red Bank, from Thanksgiving through New Years , and a special designer portfolio in the Holiday edition of Design NJ magazine which highlights Holiday décor and design specification by James Yarosh, gallery owner, in the home of a fine art client.
Featuring more than two hundred plein-air landscape and portrait works from the Moscow School of Russian Realism, the gallery’s annual fine art trunk show, a celebrated event of the Tri-State area, is set for one weekend only, December 6-7, with extended hours from Noon to 4:00 p.m. on both days.
The event will be co-hosted by John Wurdeman, prominent art historian, and will include works by renowned Current Era Russian artists, as well as Soviet Era Master Artists including Zabelin, Maltsev, Fedosov, and Koslov. “Our annual Moscow show offers a first peek at many works only just arriving in this country. It’s a wonderful opportunity to make that special purchase just in time for the arrival of Holiday guests,” said Yarosh. The gallery’s Holiday Open House continues until December 21 with extended Sunday hours for the duration.
On view now, the work of gallery artist Evelyn Leavens will be featured as part of a sparkling Holiday display in the windows of Garmany-Red Bank. Leavens works, often landscapes, feature a broad blend of techniques and subject matter, a demonstration of talent most certainly enhanced by the artist’s 82 years of life experience. Leavens’ work has been featured in multiple exhibits around the country, and the artist is the recipient of 2 fellowships awarded by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. “I have known Evelyn as an artist, a teacher and even having posed for her classes back when I was 18. And it is with great pride that I have been showing & selling Evelyn’s art since I first opened my gallery in 1996. She is a dynamic and accomplished artist whose spirit is greater than all of those in Monmouth County who love her.” said Yarosh.
Adding to the gallery’s Holiday merriment, James Yarosh Associates is pleased to be featured in a designer portfolio on the topic of Holiday decorating in the 2008 Holiday edition of Design NJ magazine. In the feature, Yarosh details his arrangement of exquisite Holiday décor within the home of a fine art client who requested Yarosh specify the design for his entire home renovation from ‘gut-out’ up.
Readers will enjoy multiple photos which include a dining table adorned with Rumson China, provided by Barbara Edwards, and Beth LaCava’s floral arrangements depicting Yarosh’s visions of iceberg poppies floating above cotton pod snowdrifts. Yarosh explains his Holiday decorating choices showcased within the feature as a splendid indulgence. “The Holidays mark that one special time of the year that affords putting on every piece of jewelry at once, and letting your home sparkle to receive family and friends with whom to share and enjoy the Season,” he said.
James Yarosh Associates cordially invites all to join the gallery in this year’s month-long Holiday celebration. “We’re looking forward to each of our Holiday events, and hope to share with others both the joy of the Season, and the exquisite beauty of fine art within the home,” said Yarosh.
