JOYCE ANASTASIA URBANSKI- Artist Meet & Greet scheduled 2-4pm, Saturday, June 1, 2013

Save the Date: On Saturday, June 1st during afternoon gallery hours, James Yarosh Associates will proudly host a meet and greet reception with Joyce Anastasia Urbanski, one of our clients’ most popular artists to collect since our gallery opening in 1996. The gallery will also showcase Urbanski’s most recent works. We timed this special event to coincide with iris blooming season, as irises are one of Urbanski’s favorite subjects to paint. Interior designer clients and Urbanski collectors are welcome to contact James Yarosh Associates directly regarding a special, RSVP-only evening event.

Gallery owner James Yarosh with Joyce Anastasia Urbanski on opening day of the new 45 East Main Street, 2nd floor gallery - November 2012

"A friend and inspiration of how to live life as an artist, Joyce Anastasia Urbanski was already an established artist with over 15 one-person shows to her credit when we met. I was 18 at the time, and Joyce suggested I paint with her invitational artist group, comprised of the area's greatest talents. This was quite a big deal at my young age, and the experience allowed me learn while painting alongside artists who turned into my heroes, including Judy Draper Martin, John Ventura and Evelyn Leavens. Beyond Joyce's artistic gifts as a painter and potter, her strong character and community leadership with artists has allowed this weekly “Wednesday Night Group” to continue, to this day, for over 30 years without interruption. Gratefully, there are too many stories and happy memories to share here, so please accept my invitation to come to the gallery and share a moment with an inspirational artist." -James Yarosh
